The exhibit, titled 4 The Sake of Art, runs at the gallery until Sept. 19. It features works using watercolour, acrylic, mixed media and sculpture mediums. The four artists are Sandra George, Jo Ann Haynes, Mary Rischke and Maria Weir. The exhibit is described as a spectacular presentation of colour, texture, form and imagery. It was created through the exploration of self-expression. George uses objects she finds for her pieces, thus making something new out of something discarded and forgotten. Haynes's work depicts endless possibilities of colour, medium and light. Rischke loves the creative process and the excitement of experiencing new mediums and techniques, colour, texture and movement spilling onto the canvas.
