Buick and GMC the future of the company depends on them I will miss Punriac Saab and Sat urn but wont miss many of their products like my least favorite car the Saturn L200 wagon Through the difficult years one standout was the Cadillac CTS Debuting in 2002 it was one of GMs first return to rear- wheeldrive vehi cles It was an attempt to go after younger more affluent buyers and followed two failed earlier attempts with the Allante and Catera Originally offered as a sedan with various options and trim levels the CTS was warmly received and has won a number of awards since The breakaway styling by Wayne Cherry with razorback lines big for ward sloping grille and signature upright head and taillights set the very much apart from what GM was offering back in For 2010 the CTS is no longer limited to just a sedan but Is also now available as a coupe and as tested a wagon In addition there is a hubris spitting 556 CTSV but thats another story Instead of one engine there are now two in afore mentioned 556 hp and 551 lbft of torque Standard transmission is a six- speed automatic The CTS is avail able in rear- and allwheeldrive as distinct models instead of AWD being an option In the
