Association this year and they kicked off their season with an exhibition game between the Keswick Cordobas and an Alls tar team Saturday night in the Sutton arena The Allstar team which was composed of players from other teams in the league won the game 41 OHA executive member Howie Stevenson helped drop the puck along with Councillor Bruce Welch and Gord Hare the Sulton arena manager in the season opener for the Intermediate league Howie Stevenson said the will be looking after this league we will appoint the of ficials and give the suspensions and fines The game between the Keswick Cordobas and the Allstars which started after the dropping of the puck saw the Allstars pull ahead in the first period with a coal by Ray Carr Don starting and Jim Hallins assisted on the play Later in the first period Tom McLeish scored another for the Allstars making it while Ron Josephson and Dave Owens assisted on the play The Keswick team came back strong and scored in the second period with a shot by Ron Cooper and Bob Babcock assisting The Allstar wasnt to be stopped though as Perry Lang pierced the Keswick mesh with a hard slapshot and Dave Owens set him up on the play for the Allstars
