Councillor said the words home for the aged would offend him if he were a resident Noting that some of the homes residents are In their the councillor eyed several of his fellow committee members as he suggested that 50 was somewhat young to be considered a senior The homes director Barry Smith agreed the name might be changed but encouraged the f committee to maintain the name York which he said after dinner Wednesday will leave the town rather empty as almost 100 senior citizens are swept away for fullday bus tours The Newmarket Recreation department is sponsoring a trip to Centre Island
