But the voters of York North riding voted solidly for Ihe re election of Progressive Conser vative Bill Hodgson Thursday In steamrolling over Liberal Jim Wilson and Ian Scott of the NDP Mr won 202 of the 210 polling subdivision in the riding And per cent of the 32626 voters made Mr Hodgson their choice Mr Wilson in his first try in politics received per cent and Mr Scott also making his political debut got per cent of the vote A 64 per cent turnout is credited with Mr Hodgsons huge majority Mr Hodgson polled votes Mr Wilson 9660 and Mr Scott 7247 Newman PC victory was never in I It was over
