Christmas play the first week in December Look Back in Anger is scheduled for March and the final play to be a comedy will hopefully be Treats by Christopher Hampton This play was and is a great success in London Charleys Aunt by Brandon Thomas has proven the biggest success so far for the two Friday evenings were both sellouts The Friday evening wine and cheese parties also proved as popular application permit which proposes a station beamed at the Newmarket Aurora King Whitchurch Stouffville area has not yet received technical clearance by the Canadian and Television Commission That clearance was necessary to have the licensing hearing scheduled for the June session of the CRTC The next session begins in September There has been no objection to the proposals technical aspects which deal with the transmitter and frequency request Clearance was simply not ready in time for the June hearings said CRTC Aurora salary talks not public AURORA Before you rush off to the towns council in committee meeting next Wednesday night you should know that salary discussions will be held in closed session A dispute last week about whether nonunion town employees should be given an eightpercent increase sent the matter back to council-in- committee for recon sideration And while the council in committee meetings are open to the public the discussion of salaries is according to town policy held in camera For that reason when the salary issue comes up tonight the press and public will be excluded Committees decision will be forwarded to council June 6 Every Monday in
