the Oak Ridges Moraine The commission was one of several proposals which grew out of a meeting Wednesday between York North Bill Hodgson and the CCKT Coming on like one of the original Concerned Citizens as he called himself Mr Hodgson suggested that maybe members should be pushing a little harder to protect the unique area which in King includes the headwaters of the Glenville Creek and several hundred acres of hush bounded by St and the Fourth Cone and 9 and the Compbell Sideroad Its the most in credible thing said former CCKT chairman John Kudelka referring to the area in King You could get yourself lost in there just 25 miles from Toronto Mr Hodgson said establishment of a commission has a lot of merit He promised all the help he can provide in such matters as com munication and co operation between ministries at Queens Park He also noted that it would be very difficult to get a planned subdivision on the moraine Mr Hodgson came up with a couple of other suggestions for keeping King green at the Wednesday meeting He stressed that more local pressure is needed to compel York Region to pass regulations controlling treecutting within the area I wish you would have Gage Love in to one of your meetings suggested Hodgson who indicated he has been working with the King resident on this project We havent got co operation of region Mr Hodgson also noted Wednesday that
