mean development of more conservation- recreation parks in the area Representatives of the existing municipal gov ernments of North and East Gwillimbury townships and Sutton voted last week to join an ex panded conservation authority which has tentatively been named South Lake Simcoe Conservation Authority but representatives of Ontario municipalities to the cast postponed their decision on joining until next Jan uary when they have more information of a regional government in Ontario County The new authority area takes in the Black Creek and Jersey watersheds The area which will vote on joining next January would Include the River and Brook watersheds Municipalities pay a levy to the Authority on a per capita basis and the larger Authority will allow more money and thus more flexibility In
