wonderful support to this project We would like to re mind those who have made pledges that they can still send in their cheques Improvements to the Le gion Hall are now In full swing we hope to have ft In good shape early In the new year Many of the members are donating ten blocks three dollars to help build the new front on the hall its hearten ing to find so many taking an Interest Dont forget next month we will be electing new of ficers for the executive We strongly urge every member to attend this meeting on Nov 22 From now on our members be receiving our new Monthly Bulletin The first members we would appreciate hearing from you Farmers Petition For Tax Relief KINO CITY King Town ship Federation of Agricul ture will have to apply to a County Judge regarding the request for tax relief for police and fire protection Reeve Gordon Cook told the president of the association Farmers had asked for tax relief on agriculture lands except for the farm buildings and five acres of land President of the Federation Carl was told that a municipal council Is permit ted to receive a tax relief petition but farmers them selves appealing for certain tax exemptions must apply to a county court Judge to hear the case Only two out of the On tario municipalities have been granted per cent of tax relief on farm lands We would like to take this opportunity to thank the for the much apprec
