attempted to pass a bylaw authorizing the sale of two lots on In dustry St to the Ontario Humane Society but it bogged down at the second reading because no selling price was indicated Councillor Peter Miller chairman of the Bylaws Committee stalled proceedings when he questioned how much town would get for the property intended as the site for an animal shelter Reeve Jim Murray expressed surprise the Finance Committee had not named a price Councillor Dick said as the vendor council should set the price and pre sented a motion that the sum of per lot be inserted in the bylaw Councillor
