the Aurora Highlands Golf and Country Club Mrs Margaret First VicePresident and In ternational Federation Chair man was the guest speaker Her topic was The Aims and Objectives of P Miss McLellan Na tional Employment Condi tions Chairman led a discus sion session The Barrie Club and the Club were present in large numbers as guests for Canadian Legion Notes NORTH GWILL1MBURY BRANCH Saturday night was Ladies Auxiliary Night at the hall a capacity crowd was out for this gala affair Branch members had the honor of preparing and serv ing the Auxiliary members their supper on the an niversary of the Auxiliary birthday The cooks were members of the executive un der chef Ray Sttcklend and the waiters were members of the past presidents club At the head table were Auxiliary President Rita Walsh legion President Art West lake Glo ria Auxiliary Zone Commander Rose Manning Guest Speaker Provincial 1st vice president Elsie Auxiliary Provincial secre tary and Master of Ceremon ies Jim One of the highlights of the was introduction of the charter members of the Ladies Auxiliary of Branch Brown Amie Toby Betty Gordon Edith Birch June Porting and Ml Gard ner Another of the highlights was a presentation of a cerli of merit to Betty Gor don first vicepresident of the Ladles Auxiliary by Clar ence Wood Past President of Ontario Command on behalf of Branch 326 for her out standing work in helping the Branch in many ways over the past years There was also the presen tation of a cheque to the branch for by Auxiliary President Rita on he- half of the Ladies Auxiliary Music for the evening was supplied by Harry Syratt ami his orchestra and entertain ment was supplied by the three peanut men Approximately ladles sat down to dinner including guests from Bradford Aurora Preston Toronto Richmond Hill Bolton Sutton and Stouffville Their hus bands joined them at the dance after the dinner Jim in his tion of the head table men tioned the way the Auxiliary has grown from 15 to its pres-
