Pte. Mervin Harrison killed while overseas

Lindsay, Nov. 17 (Special) – Mrs. Marie Harrison of Ridout Street, Lindsay, received official confirmation that her husband, Pte. Mervin Leroy Harrison, 21, has been killed while serving with the Black Watch Regiment overseas.


Pte. Harrison is a son of Mr. Norman Harrison of Maple Lake, Ont. He enlisted at Peterboro in January, 1943, and after receiving training at Camp Borden and Cornwall went overseas in July 1943.
