Cellphones stolen Tuesday Halton police are looking for three suspects following a break-in at the Rogers Plus store at 1500 Upper Middle Rd. early Tuesday morning. Police said a silver SUV arrived at the store at around midnight at which point the suspects got out, smashed the front window and entered the store, which sells wireless products. Police said that, once inside, the thieves stole numerous cellphones and then fled the area. Police say two males broke into a Bell store located at 2525 Hampshire Gate on Thursday, July 12 at approximately 1:40 a.m. According to investigators, the two suspects then stole electronic items and fled the scene. A mid-2000 Chevrolet Cavalier was seen in the area at the time of the break-in. Police said the cyclist has been rushed to Hamilton General Hospital with potentially life-threatening injuries after being struck by a black Acura MDX at around 7:40 a.m. Members of the Halton Regional Police Service Collision Reconstruction Unit are at the scene of the collision along with members of Forensic Identification Services. No charges have been laid at this time as police continue to investigate. The area was expected to remain closed to traffic for several hours.
