Section of Liptay closed tomorrow for street party A section of Liptay Avenue will be closed Saturday to accommodate a street party. A road closure permit has been issued for the area between 3409 and 3470 Liptay Ave. from 4-11 p.m. All affected service providers have been notified of the road closure through the special event permit process. · · · The Town of Oakville has announced Lower Baseline will be closed from Aug. 7-Dec. 21 as Henderson Park Bridge is replaced. The planned work includes excavation and construction of drainage, curbs and gutters, retaining walls, bridge structure and storm sewers. Grading and landscape work also needs to be done.
