Babcocks Richmond Hill High athletes finished on top with points with the host school Pickering College second with Broc was a close third with 50 points while St Andrews College win ner of the event Falls and athletes were newcomers to the event Set Records Jim Passmorc and Gary Kozak in setting two new records each sparked Richmond Hill won the senior 220 in 234 seconds and then edged Al White of Pick ering College in the 120yard high hurdles in 155 seconds White set the record of seconds last year Kozak established new junior standards of ft 9 in in the broad jump and 37 ft in in the hop step and jump Don MacLeod of Orillia ran the senior mile in a record smashing seconds white Frank Duval of Brock ran the two mile event in seconds to establish a new standard Newmarket High athletes Dave Jefferson and George won first place ribbons in inter mediate competition Jefferson won the 440 in 572 edging Barry Cook of Aurora across the finish line Robertson won the hop step and jump with a fine 39 ft 6 in effort Jefferson added a second in the shotput and a third in the discus Robertson was second in the broad jump Newmarket Junior Henry McCutcheon promising Newmarket junior captured
