kept To link to gether the Guides of all nations a World Association was formed to which each country sends representatives One symbol of the World As sociation is the World Flag which is used by Guides in all countries The Gold Trefoil on the blue background represents golden sun shining in a blue sky which when it sets on one land rises on another and so is shining always on Guides in some part of the world The two stars stand for the promise and the law which Guides in all lands have promised to obey The vein of the leaf is the com pass needle which points out the direction in which to
