quotations from many pam phlets edited by the United Na tions A lively discussion followed and all agreed that war prepara tion is necessary but that the real hope of permanent world peace lay in spiritual rather than material forces Mrs Irwin Winch gave a splendid account of the county convention at Bol ton outlining the many encour aging and uplifting thoughts of the various speakers The cup
