Friday March The program moved smoothly from one number to another with no delays under the capable guidance of Jimmy Walker as Social New MAKE PRESENTATION TO SHOW MOTHERS A presentation was made to the seven committee members of the Newmarket Figure Skating club at the first annual carnival staged at the arena on March Making the presentation was Mrs Bert Mrs as a mother of one of the children who had received instruction in figure skating from the club praised the com mittee for its untiring work throughout the season She called attention to their super vision of practice hours as well as the many other tasks which they voluntarily undertook Mrs Howard president was credited with originating the plan for the clubs formation Sally Kathleen Curtis Heather Davis Annlyn Molyneaux Betty Jacques and Susan Dales presented their mo thers with cups and saucers on behalf of the children in the club R DRAWS ICE DECORATION The centre of the ice surface at the Newmarket Memorial na for the
