Canadians spend 18 hours in Dinghies in the Channel Back at the base after spending 18 hours on the waters of the English Channel, Flt. Lt. Gordon Frederick, of Lindsay, navigator for Wing Cmdr. A. Barker, of the R.C.A.F. City of Edmonton Intruder Squadron, is assisted by F.Q. W. Stewart, Toronto. When their Mosquito crash-landed on the Channel the two intruders lashed their dinghies together and spent a day and a night afloat. Frederick sustained a fractured leg.
