Sergt. Gordon Fee, Omemee, is now reported missing

Omemee, Oct. 25—It has just been announced that Sgt. Gordon I. Fee, son of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Fee of Emily township, is missing after air operations overseas.

Sgt. Fee attended S.S. No. 9, Emily Township, for his public schooling and then went to Omemee High School for the remainder of his education. After graduating from there, he worked on the farm with his father until he joined the R.C.A.F. in February, 1941. He trained at Toronto, Moncton and Mount Jolie, Quebec, and he received his wings at the latter.

Going overseas in March 1942, he celebrated his 23rd birthday last May. His name appeared as missing in the 402nd casualty list of the Air Force.

Besides his parents, Sgt. Fee has a sister, Gwendolyn Fee, in Peterborough, and a brother, Murray, at home on the farm. The Fees are well-known and popular around the district and live about half-way between Mt. Pleasant and Omemee.
