offences in I LIKE AN Telle why a la painful and thorn grow Press an electric button and you form it contact with a live wire which rings the bell When your shoes press against your corn it pushes its sharp roots down upon a sensitive nerve and you get the shock of pain Instead of trimming your corns which merely makes them grow just step into any drug slore and ask for a quarter of an ounce of freefone This will cost you very little but is sufficient to re move every bard or soft corn or icallus from ones feet A few drops applied directly upon a tender aching corn slops the soreness instantly and soon the corn shrivels up so it right out root and all without pain This drug freezonc is harmless and never inflames or even irri tates the surrounding skin I LIU3T PUT UP DEPOSIT OK think ing of friends in the Homeland decided to write a few lines lo your Interesting paper that might be of interest lo some of your readers arrived at what is now called the Camp on July when it was nothing but trees and an abundant growth heather At first tents were erected which we slept very comfortably and in which we re until about a month ago First of all our mill was erect ed and the machinery set up then a band of carpenters set to work to build up a camp We have now a large dininghall ana orderly room hospital sergeants dining room large re creation hall with ana canteen besides our seven huts where we have comfortably heat ed and the camp throughout lighted by electric light We have now one of and most up- todate camps in Northern Scot land The wood gangs consist of two fullers two swampers one team ster and two rollers The log of different lengths are placed on large skid ways and a tern railroad erected and they are then drawn to the mill by a small locomotive drawing about logs at a load We are cutting lies and lumber of many different measurements which are drawn by motor and shipped to the front One of greatest helps in military camp on this side of blue deep is the great organiza tion the YMCA In our long dark evenings we are given con certs of a very interesting na ture to which we have the priv ilege of inviting our outside friends As for writing paper envelopes reading matter hey are in abundance just for asking and if it were not for the splendid work of the YMCA our long hours of darkness would very tiring and monotonous have hero a very
