the Niagara of April Christ risen Luke Golden Text Now is from the dead The empty tomb death had no pow er over Christ The stone removed obstacles van ish in coming to Christ The mistaken women Jesus did not need their service now but their love was rewarded by the revelation of a glorious truth thru angelic messengers The women appear in a better light in this story than the men None of the latter were at the tomb It was not their superior knowledge but their inferior love All the precautions of the Jews and Romans to keep the disciples out of the tomb proved vain when God took a hand in tho matter It was a brief but a glad and a great gospel that the angels preach ed He is not here but is risen It had all come to pass just as Jesus said it would and so it will be with every promise no matter incred ible it may The women were bidden to go quick ly and tell others the good news One who receives the gospel must tell it out quickly Women were the first preachers but their message appeared as idle talk so the gospel appears to many still It may seem difficult to understand how the apostles were so slow to be lieve in the resurrection story but remembering the unbelief our own
