Two other sons, George and John Eggleton are serving with the Canadian Army overseas.

He was killed in action on August 9th. Five brothers and two sisters also survive.
Lindsay citizens join in extending sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Eggleton in their bereavement. Mr. Eggleton is a veteran of World War No. 1 and still bears the scars of the battle, as he was a shrapnel casualty.
