The 17-year-old recently won second place in the Business Finance category at the DECA International Career Development Conference in Salt Lake City, Utah. He plans to attend the University of Western Ontario for financial economics next year with the goal of doing a dual degree in economics and honours of business administration. He's also in the business specialist high skills major program at Abbey Park, which funded the trip to the conference. "I feel proud of this," he said. "It's definitely the greatest accomplishment of my life so far. It just really proves hard work really does pay off because I've done tons of preparation beforehand and when I was in Salt Lake City, my average sleep time was five hours every night because I was putting in tons of work for this trophy."
