LACHANCE, Raymond Leo Paul Jan 17, 1933 - Feb 24, 2012 Passed away peacefully at his home in Burlington Ontario, in his 79th year. Beloved father of Joanne Collier (Dave) of Georgetown and Robert Lachance (Suzanne Beck) of Barrie. Grandfather to Braden and Faith Collier and Christopher and Ezekiel Beck. Born in Quebec City Quebec. Pre-deceased by his brother Romeo and Sister Margaritte and survived by his sister Yoland all from Quebec. Raymond will be sadly missed by his extended family Betty Lachance (Gray) and all of her family and many good friends but especially Gerry and Marna Trudell of Burlington. Raymond was a retiree of St. Laurent Paperboard (formally CIP Containers) with 25 years of service and UPS Supply Chain Solutions for 8 years. He was also a member of The Colour Guards for the Royal Canadian Naval Association, Burlington and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 60, Burlington. Cremation has taken place. Burial will be done at a later date. A Service of Remembrance will be held at the DODSWORTH & BROWN FUNERAL HOME, BURLINGTON CHAPEL, 2241 New Street (at Drury Lane), Burlington, 905-637-5233 on Saturday March 3, 2012 at 12:00 pm. Reception to follow at The Royal Canadian Naval Association, 760 Brant Street, Burlington. www.dbburlington.ca.
