The Safety Shrinkers LEGO-robotics team is hosting its fundraiser event at Boston Pizza, located at Dorval Drive and the QEW, on Sunday, April 15. Those attending will be able to enjoy a buffet meal of salads, pasta, pizzas and pop along with draw prizes and a silent auction. The Safety Shrinkers consists of seven youths who meet after school to make educational robotics. Only three Ontario teams have been selected at the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) North American Open Tournament of Champions to be held at LEGOLAND this coming May. There will be 69 teams competing in total. The April 15 fundraiser in Oakville runs from 4:30-7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $25.
