Oakville concluded its round-robin schedule with wins over Brantford (7-0) and Waterloo (2-0), then avenged its lone tournament loss with a 2-0 blanking of Gloucester in the final. This year marked the third time in four years that Oakville's novice B team has won gold at the Walter Gretzky tournament, which featured more than 120 teams from across the province and 21 divisions. Members of the Hornets are Alex Crich, Shannon O'Hare, Breanna Lombardo, Kathryn Zuliani, Sydney O'Leary, Rebecca DiFilippo, Stephanie Stainton, Elexis Roberto, Mia Newby, Taya Balfour, Emily Sampson, Tatum Martino, Olivia Hunt, Cassidy Mallete, Maddyx Lindsay, Taylor Stanford and Reichen Kirchmair.
