The death occurred on Saturday, Aug. 15, 1925, at the home of his mother, 147 Harrison street, Toronto, of E. Russell Purvis, well known to many in this district as yearly resident at Grimsby Park in the early days, and later as the promoter of Lakeside Gardens at Grimsby East. The funeral took place from Toronto, by motor on Monday, Aug. 17, to Queens Lawn Cemetery, Grimsby.
