Proceeds will support awareness campaigns, political refugee families in Oakville and prisoner of conscience Huseyin Celil and his family, who lives in Burlington. The fundraiser will run 7-9 p.m. at Paradiso Restaurant, 125 Lakeshore Rd. E. Tickets cost $20 at the door (cash only) and include a glass of wine or two non-alcoholic drinks, plus finger foods.
