Kerr Street Ministries (KSM) is counting on Feb. 25 as the Coldest Night of the Year. The non-competitive two-, five- and 10-kilometre winter-walk fundraiser will take place Saturday, Feb. 25 and supports select Canadian charities that help serve the hungry, homeless and hurting in cities across Canada. The fundraiser, known as the WALK, will start at 5 p.m. at the Dream Centre, 485 Kerr St. The event will give participants the opportunity to experience a hint of the challenges faced by the homeless by walking for a few hours during a cold, Canadian winter night.
