Anton Kaploun (one gold, three silver, two bronze) collected six medals at the event, while Nya Jones (three gold, one bronze) added four. Cameron Montague, Victoria Flowerday and Liam Robertson were OAK's other gold medalists. Montague also earned a pair of bronzes, Flowerday won a silver and bronze, and Robertson was second in two other races. Mikey Parker picked up three silver medals and Edward Zhang earned two silver and three bronze. Jeannie Lam, Callum MacPherson and Emma Miron each took home a silver and a bronze. Bailey Dewdney, Alexandra Guta, Rodrigo Hontoria Arroyo, Akram Ibrahim, Benjamin Landa and Marin Papulkas also posted topthree finishes at the meet. SWIMMINGRESULTS Oldershaw was first in the female senior 200m and 400m individual medleys as well as the 100m backstroke. Harrison won the female senior 200m backstroke, added a silver in the 100m backstroke and collected bronzes in the 200m and 400m individual medleys. Mika Spencer claimed bronze in the female senior 800m freestyle, and Kent Kikot was third in the male senior 200m butterfly. Numerous long-course (50m) OAK club records were also set at the meet. Spencer set new standards in the female 17-andover 200m and 800m freestyles, Harrison broke the club record in the 200m backstroke, Oldershaw set a record in the 100m backstroke and 17-and-over 200m individual medley, and Mackenzie Hamill eclipsed earlier this season in Bradford. KNIGHTS ARE KINGS: The Oakville minor atom Dark Knights won a hockey tournament Dark Knights win Bradford tourney The Oakville minor atom Dark Knights avenged a 5-1 round-robin loss to Amesbury with a 4-2 win over Amesbury in the final of the recent Bradford Nottawasaga Bulldogs Classic hockey tournament. The Dark Knights won their first two preliminary-round games before the loss to Amesbury, advancing to the championship game in a tiebreaker. Members of the team are Cameron Patterson, Dominic Boyle, Christopher Chung, Matthew Day, Frederic Engmann, Aidan Karadza, Mitchell Kereluik, Lance Lusterio, Ty Maclellan, David McAllister, Luca Murray, Myles Newport, Mason Prugh, Andrew Toscano, Deven Vyas and Brody Wilden. Geoff Kereluik, Dwayne McAllister and Jason Maclellan coach the team, and Eric Engmann is the trainer. White Oaks rink at Gore curling provincials A curling team from White Oaks Secondary School is participating in this week's Gore Ontario School Curling Championships after qualifying by winning all three of its games at regionals last weekend. The rink includes skip Jack Lindsay, vice Kevin Mooney, second Chris Arnold and lead Graham Shaw, and is coached by John Lindsay. The Gore Ontario School Curling Championships, sponsored by Gore Mutual Insurance Company since 1948, is the oldest trophy competed for by Ontario high school athletes. The championships begin today (Thursday) and conclude Saturday.
