Kim will be greatly missed by his wife of 42 years, Penny, his sister Bambi, his children Sarah Sims (Rob), Amanda (Craig Squires), and Alex (Colleen Dunn). His grandchildren, Graydon, Elliot, Amelia, Keira, Campbell, Molly, and Henry, will miss their "Boo" and his fishing stories. Kim was a devoted volunteer at the Oakville Red Cross, and was awarded the Governor General's Golden Jubilee Medal for services. The family would like to thank Dr. Kamara, Glenann and her team of nurses at Acclaim Health, as well as David and the P.S.W.s from the Red Cross. A Memorial Service will be held at Ward Funeral Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville (905844-3221), on Friday January 6th, 2012, at 11:00am. He was born in Holland on October 3rd, 1940. His family moved to Canada in 1954. He was a self-made man. He became plant manager at Torrington Manufacturing Company in Oakville and later was transferred to Oklahoma, then later Indiana, Michigan and Texas. He retired as Chief Executive of Operations in Texas and moved to West Palm Beach in 1999. He started his own business as a professional craftsman and loved helping people. Preceded in death by his parents, Hendrick and Alice. Lovingly survived by his family, wife, Bonnie and his children Te r r y, Ta m i a n d B o n n i e - S u e . Daughter-in-law Linda and son-inlaw, Bud. Grandchildren Nicole, Ashley, Wesley, Tiffany, Jordan and Kelly. Great grandchildren Gabriel and Jaydn. Brother Jack (Fran), sister Ann (Hein), brother Ben (Faye), and brother Jerry (Cheryl) nephews and nieces. He was greatly loved and missed in all our lives. The Moed Family.
