Glenleven Chrysler helping to bring some Chrismas cheer to Halton area children Glenleven Chrysler is Oakville's oldest car dealership and has been servicing the community at its current location for over 50 years. This year, Glenleven Chrysler has once again teamed up with the Halton Children's Aid Society to help spread some Christmas cheer to children in need this holiday season with their annual `Christmas Wishes on Wheels' campaign. "Glenleven has been running our `Christmas Wishes on Wheels' campaign for the past eight years to provide toys and gifts for less fortunate children in our community who are in the care of Halton's Children's Aid Society," Dealer Principal Gail Guimond says. "Over the years we have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our customers and staff and have been able to gather hundreds of gifts to be distributed to kids at the Children's Aid annual Christmas Party." This year, in addition to accepting new, unwrapped toys, Glenleven has added a new element to their campaign called `Cars for Kids.' "With each new or used vehicle we sell from December 1 to December 15, Glenleven Chrysler will donate gifts for six children on behalf of our customers." "Currently, over 70 percent of the children in the care of HCAS are over 13 years old, so we have specially selected gifts for this age group," she explains. Some ideal gift suggestions requested by the Children's Aid include financial donations, gift cards, movie passes, sports items, fashion accessories, warm winter clothing and toys for all ages. Donations can be dropped off at Glenleven Chrysler before Wednesday December 14 in order for them to arrive at the holiday party that weekend. The dealership is located at 2388 Royal Windsor Drive in Oakville. For more information, please call Glenleven Chrysler at 905 845-7575.
