Roy Lutz, a former Saltfleet man killed. Word was received in Hamilton, September 21st, that Pte. Roy, son of Henry and Mrs. Lutz, former residents of Hamilton Beach, but who moved to Winnipeg some years ago, had been killed in action in France. Pte. Lutz was well known and very popular having attended the Collegiate Institute, Hamilton, before leaving for Winnipeg. He was 23 years of age. He was killed while serving with an Ottawa regiment.
