Man facing f gun charges h A 20-year-old Oakville man is facing numerous weapons charges after being found with an airgun on Speers Road earlier this month. The incident began the evening of Friday, Oct. 7 when Halton police plainclothes officers observed a suspicious vehicle in a parking lot near 379 Speers Rd. Police approached the vehicle and said that, while interacting with the occupants, they observed evidence of drug activity. A search of the vehicle was performed and officers found a 9mm Zoraki airgun pistol near the front passenger door. The gun, which fires blanks, was not loaded.
