The 2011 Cape Dorset Print Collection, titled Stone and Paper, is an Inuit art exhibit featuring more than 30 images. The exhibit runs from Oct. 15 to 30, but the artwork will not be available for purchase until the official release day of Friday, Oct. 21. Blues guitarist hits Moonshine Cafe Blues-guitarist and singer Alfie Smith will be putting on a show at The Moonshine Café on Friday, Oct. 14. The musician recently released the 16-track album Sometimes in the Rain. The mostly solo CD focuses on vocals and fretwork. It is his sixth album. Smith will hit the stage at 9 p.m. Tickets cost $10 at the door, while reservations are recommended. The café is located at 137 Kerr St. For reservations, call 905-844-2655. All-girl rock band at Indie Week Oakville-based all-girl rock band Tallulah Darling will be performing at Indie Week in Toronto on Thursday, Oct. 13. The band will be the first act of the night at The Hideout, starting a half-hour set at 8:30 p.m. The band, featuring Elora Taylor, Dee Filc, Alex Pearl and Michelle Ervin has been around for more than a year. The band can currently be heard on college, commercial and Internet radio. The Hideout is located at 484 Queen St. W.
