One in 10,000 athletes get to the pro level, said de Vos, technical director of the Oakville Soccer Club (OSC). Its not about putting all of our investment into that one. Its about putting that investment into all 10,000 and still putting in place a structure that works for everyone, that still allows the best players to get to the highest level and fulfill their poten- tial. And de Vos believes the OSC has taken a big step in that regard with the hiring of the biggest professional coaching staff in the clubs history.
