The free event will take place from 1-5 p.m. at St. Paul's United Church, located at 454 Rebecca St. Families are encouraged to bring a dona- tion to the Fareshare food bank. The Family Birth and Baby Show will cel- ebrate families with a full afternoon of work- shops, presenters, demonstrations and door prizes. The event will also feature vendors. Among the fare will be how to enjoy your pregnancy, birth and postpartum periods; an interactive Salsa Babies demonstration; 10 tips that every new parent should know about how to ensure optimal neurological develop- ment for children; car seat safety and instal- lation; family nutrition; seven steps to slum- ber: sleep expectations and solutions for babies, toddlers and preschoolers; where does dad fit into the breastfeeding relationship; babywearing 101 and more.
