Oakville artist Alan Kingsland has pro- duced the fourth painting of a two-decade long series depicting the towns downtown area and what he says may be his last. The new painting, titled My Town, will be available in print form at a number of Oakville galleries. I'm in my late seventies so I will probably not be doing any more in the series, Kingsland said in an email. Each of the paintings, including this one, depicts downtown Oakville. The first was released in 1990, titled My Home Town. The next came in 1997, titled Our Town, and the third in 2001, titled Down Town. Kingsland has been an artist for the last 40 years and has produced work viewed across Canada. The prints of the new painting will be available at such locations as Glen Abbey Gallery, New Concept Gallery, Sea & Craft Gallery, Artist Expression and more. It is also available through Kingsland, by email to akingsland@cogeco.ca. Artist releases fourth painting of Oakville series
