food store for close to a year We have had requests for such products for quite some time but we just dldn t have the space to hold more inventory explained Mr Manes The space beside IGA had been vacant for up to four years and we decided that it would be more economical to open up a new business to meet Up until about two years ago Marilyn was your average everyday housewife with five children and as many grand children It was at this time that she started feeling the need to get out of the house more As a result of this felling Mrs started her own business called The Feminine Way The Feminine Way is a fran chise organization that specializes in passive exer cise Passive exercise being vibrating couches and beds with vibrating parts to exercise dif ferent parts body This is a somewhat new procedure that is very therapeutic for post operative and post natal women this demand Mr Manes has owned the in Acton for five years he took over the business for his father He said that he expects Arctic Charlie s to be a profitable business because of its location people can do all of their food shopping in one area His wife Monica will be managing the new store Mr Manes said the business will be distinct from other frozen food stores in that it will offer a better selection and better prices to customers as well as having demonstrations and free samples on a regular basis He penence running a business She is doing a very good job in ing the Feminine Way though because she has a rather large clientele and it keeps getting larger She has also just put IGA will also work at Arctic Charlie s when they are needed The two businesses are with an intercom system I hoping that it Arctic Charlies will become a chise business the future stated Mr manes M and Meats started out in much the same way as this store has and now it a highly sought after franchise Store hours for Arctic Charlie s are Monday to Wednesday from a m to p m Thursdays and Fridays from a m to p m Saturday from to 6 p m and Sundays from 11 a m to 5 pm together a seniors day for pro spective new senior members and plans to make it an annual event The Feminine Way is also a part of the Hills Welcome Wagon offering a free hour for every new woman in Georgetown All in all there seems to be a very bright future for this establishment in the years to come It seems that there will always be someone in need
