out with a record The format was a fiveteam round robin Firestone fell apart in the first three games commit ting a total of errors to lose all three However the team regrouped to claim a victory in the final contest to finish fourth in Its pool Firestones overall season record now stands at five wins and seven losses The final game was against the Pickering Reps Firestone started as hot as the 90plus degree weather scoring five runs in the top of the 1st Sharon Stig- reached base on an error and advanced to second on a- wild pitch Shannon Morris followed with an RBI single After Sherie Peacock reached base via catchers interference Stacey Colarossi lined a single which cashed another run An drea Chapman and Jen Winter followed with backtoback RBI singles and Carmen Cosentino drive in the fifth with a Pickering got back in the game with four runs in its half of the in ning and both teams traded a pair of runs in the second For it was Peacock doubl ing in MorriB and then scoring herself on an errant throw It was Firestone added one run in the third Carmen Cosentino walked and was driven home on a Stigger safety In the fourth Firestone put the game away with four more runs After a Michelle Sloley single Peacock reached base on catchers interference Colarossi then singled in a run and Chapman hit an RBI groun- dout Winter drove in Colarossi and then scored on a wild
