campers know how to enjoy the outdoors The annual winter Scout Camp was held last weekend under can vas at Ebor Park Blue Springs Scout Reserve Camp chief Derek along with Venturers from 3rd Acton had a well planned program with ongo ing activities all weekend Attending the Camp of Medieval Daze were Scouts Venturers 13 Scout Leaders and three Ven Advisors Activities were also under the leadership of 3rd Acton Venturers with the patrols rotating to events run by Sean Auger and Enc White in charge of Moat Rescue ice rescue Todd Deforest was in charge of shelter building and Stephen Atherly handled the jousting Stull was in charge of the obstacle course and Kelly Auger looked after Witch Burning Kurt Andrews and Katie 0 Meant handled the first aid which ed lashing together a chariot to transport first aid victims in prac tice Snow goggles by Derek Pollitt and Medieval Times history was by Swackhammer Other events were a Scavenger Hunt and the Animal Survival Game run by the 3rd Acton Ven turers a coed group sponsored by the Georgetown Optimist Club in eluding young people from Acton Georgetown and the surrounding area A real highlight was the camp- fire on Saturday evening under the leadership of chief Todd Deforest All groups participated and presented songs skits and cheers The campfire was held out doors and had many spellbinding moments Memories never fade with the
