8775285 Tor 8480910 The ReMax Dodge team checked and skated with the home team for two periods Georgetown had many good scoring chances but just didnt get the breaks Sean Mills played a good game between the pipes for two periods and then handed the challenge over to Casselman who was brought up as an affiliate player He played a very strong game in net against a very aggressive team stopping many attempts by Milton We may not have won the game but the team played an excellent game letting Milton know that they are going to have to work extreme ly hard for their wins Monday night Dec 19 Burl ington was in town and skated to a 55 tie They scored but the Major AAs still playing as well as they bad the night before tied It up with a good goal from Randy Bond and assisted by Jim Kavanaugh Burlington went ahead 21 at the fourminute point of the first In the second Georgetown tied it up again this time by Paul and assisted by defenceman Mark David Burlington went ahead again at the end of the se cond period In the third Matt Downs scored from Bond to tie the game again Burlington went ahead and then Derek Parsons scored from Kalbarski Downs scored his se cond of the game and went in the lead for the first time of the game Parsons got the assist The team had played very well and were looking for a win as a reward for their excellent play but that was not in the cards Burl ington scoredthe tying goal taking some wind out of the home team sails Dodge left the ice knowing that they played a good game and were proud of it In game three against Flam- boro the locals came out flying and scored 26 seconds into the game Randy Bond from Matt Downs The visitors scored two minutes later Bond found the net to score the goahead goal with Derek Parsons before the first period ended tied up the game in the second Both teams were playing end-to- end with Georgetown scoring by Ryan from Bond and Par sons With no penalties in the game and the locals in the lead again and only three minutes left on the clock things were looking good but this was not to be Georgetown took a penalty giving Flamboro the man advantage They pulled their goalie to give them a twoman ad vantage We held them off until our defence took another penalty this time they took one of players with him And as fate would have it scored to tie the game 33 with seconds left in the game This game was one of the most exciting games the team has played working right to the end showing good sportsmanship and a pride In themselves and their teammates that we as parents can be proud of We the parents hope the Dodge Major AAs con tinue to play well and have pride WITH theHERALD I IE I I WIII IWM Your copy I many of our conveniently located dealers like TARGET STORE OUELPH ST PICK UP YOUR FREE COPY OF THE
