stomping Irish music The St Patricks Day concert was all part of Parish Day held Friday at Hoi Cross School Georgetown has two Catholic schools within the Holy Cross Parish Because they are separated by location parish priest Father Dave Cote said this day allows the students to celebrate the larger com munity within the parish A student from St Francis was paired up with one from Holy Cross We try and pair them up one from each school as buddies so they get to know each school Father Cote said It Is a great to end school for March Break Students spent the morning doing craft activities in preparation for Mass Some students made banners while others prepared readings to help celebrate In the Holy Cross Church Children were fed a lunch of hot dogs cookies and pop In the Parish Hall With be placed in the hands of the Credit Valley Conserve tlon Authority for a twoyear trial period The Ontario Heritage Foundation has been searching for a use for the farm near since It was bequeathed to the province by Stewart and Violet Bennett in 1963 Previous proposals to turn over management of the park to the Halton Board of Education and to the CVCA have fallen through Other proposals from the
