few weeks have made me become much more aware of has been going on for years I am also con need that we definitely need some blood on the Hospital Board The board looked rather bored and of the to the Hospital Board However none of the candidates asked to stale their reasons for running for this position It was as follows Look around you Georgetown Hospital has grown and progressed into a fine community hospital In no small part the physical growth and good reputation of this Ins been the result of the people and Us hospital board Their hard work dedication and self sacrifice given this town all communities However this Is not to say everything has run smoothly He- cent events demonstrated that the people of Georgetown are con about their hospital They are concerned because like us I believe it has become a that this Board not do what is correct for the as well appear to do so in the public I believe It is important that the Board has to open its meeting doors its experience with the lUnity whenever it is ap propriate as Is done in the Milton indOakville hospitals Georgetown is no back water com Its citizens are firmly mid die class comprised of professional or quasi professional people They will no longer accept closed In camera decisions even correct ones areas where con den Illy should not be an issue I believe the ultimate responslbill ty of this Board is not to the hospital per but to the citizens who de pend on its facilities While I understand the hospital is directly funded by the com muni ultimately the money still comes from our citizens pay cheques and if this hospital is to Justify those tax dollars and the money obtained from community funding and drives his hospital Board can not afford to appear isolated from the community it serves We must pull together to begin a new era of public and public cooperation If you shire these beliefs and con I ask for your support Thank you for me to express my thoughts Sinctrely Mrs Donrui Audier wasnt
