Memorial Arena in the first contest Six dlf ferent players handled the scoring as Adam Ho gen Lewis Sean Adam Hilts Jason Smith and Trevor found the net Ellnesky added two assists with one each going to Mark Mc In tyre At with the North Stars as the com petition Georgetown fell behind after one period and after two Smith and Hilts set up Doug Crawford early in the middle period but It took goals Brampton In town On Friday night the Chargers played six games They easily defeated Edge wood and Henry schools from Scar borough by lopsided scores school from North Bay prov a much tougher opponent and after a slow start the Chargers their opponents by scores of 1512 and On Saturday the girls played three more opponents In their pool The girls took two games from tion school split games with Forest Glen from Waterloo and then played excellent volleyball to defeat an ex cell en team from Whitby Sr school 158 and 10 With a record of 11 wins and a single defeat the girls ad to the elimination round The Chargers then played John McCrae school of Scarborough and St school of Metro Separate School Board The girls were again victorious gaining easy victories over these teams This left the Centennial team as one of only six teams left in contention The Chargers were put into round robin play with Henry Hudson school of Scarborough and pool rivals W J of North Bay Hudson defeated both schools to grab a tlon In the semi finals leaving Centennial and to fight It out for the other position Fricker started strongly and captured the first game In the second game knowing they had to defeat by seven points to win the Chargers gave their best efforts and at one point led by a score of 114 but were unable to hold the margin The Chargers won the game 1511 but lost overall by points and the North Bay squad advanced to the semi finals The girls were disappointed knowing that they had defeated this team three times In four games and yet would get the ty to play for the medals Taking part for the Chargers In this tournament were Kim Sharon Wool gar Hartley Julie Arnold Sketchcr Lisa Hamilton Jen Ryan Tracy Inglls Andrea McNeilly Stephanie Kulpers and Alexis Kerr Georgetown was coasting right along 125 before Robinson slowly crept bock into the contest But the Rebels managed to put game on Ice before Robinson could do any more damage Although disappointed at
