weekend bash at the Croatian Centre south of Narva neighbors in the area were back at council to protest about noise cam and large barbecues which they claim ruin the peaceful rural sphere If the town had had the guts to take the bull by the horn years ago real dent commented we wouldn t have this em today He went so far as to suggest that questions ho has raised with council about the centre opera tion have been dellbcrn left unanswered That was denied by town staff who say they arc getting answers and are readying a report on a site plan and official plan amendment application which the Croatian centre has submitted There is no dclinlte date when the report will be presented to council although at the end of Monday night meeting Mayor Pete urged staff to move quick hopefully answering many of the outstanding Issues at a committee meeting in the near future Besides wanting to know what future an centre representatives and District High School board of ion trustees agreed to allow the track on school properly as long as it constructed to board standards In addition trustees expect the track to be maintained under arrangement be wetn the board and the town for keeping school play grounds in shape Besides funding the feasibility study Is ted to address concerns about community use scheduling and booking and operational costs have planned for the property residents
