Thanks to a $128,900 grant from the Ontario Trillium Foundation, local food not harvested in the growing season will be harvested by volunteers and then donated to local food banks. This will be accomplished through three interrelated urban projects: a Fruit Tree Harvesting project; a Backyard/Garden Sharing project; and a Community Orchard project.
