The branch will be open until 5 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 21 and will re- open in mid-December. Along with the floor replacement, Woodside will also renovate wash- rooms to meet the standards of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act. We would like to remind anyone who usually uses the Woodside Branch they are welcome to use the two closest branches Glen Abbey Branch (located at 1415 Third Line) and Central Branch (120 Navy St.), as well as any of our other branches at any time during the temporary closure. A bit of good news that comes with the temporary closure of this branch is that Oakville Public Library will be holding increased numbers of Storytimes at Hopedale Mall, from once a week to twice a week. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 10-10:30 a.m., children and their caregivers will be able to participate in this special storytime, which takes place at Hopedale Malls Centre Court (located at Third Line and Rebecca Street). As always, our sto- rytimes are free and drop-in. Woodside families can also sign up for childrens programs at any of our other branches. Our Homebound Delivery Service, in which library materials are picked up and delivered by vol- unteers to customers who are con- fined to their residence due to illness or disability, will continue to be offered at a reduced level of once a month instead of every two weeks. We are very sorry for the inconve- nience this may cause any of our customers, and sincerely appreciate your understanding and coopera- tion. /Please check our website at http:/ www.opl.on.ca/blog/type/news/ dur- ing the temporary closure for any available updates.
