The 22-year-old made his pro debut last season after finishing his college career at Clarkson University. He had four goals and five assists in 10 games with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL. He added four more goals in 14 playoff games. The former Oakville Blade also appeared in two games with Wilkes-Barre Scranton, the Pittsburgh Penguins minor league affili- ate. DeFazio scored 36 goals and had 77 points in 141 games over four years at Clarkson.
